Founded by Nathan and Anna, our journey began with a visit to the coastal town of Newquay and its many independent casualwear surf shops. We loved all the different retro and tattoo culture designs and felt like this was something we weren't fully getting in the hiking world.

As avid hikers we have experienced the best and worst of Britain’s unpredictable weather and have often found ourselves standing in a car park in the pouring rain throwing on a hoodie or tee for warmth before heading for an unplanned social. 

We felt that there wasn't a brand out there that fully represented that experience for our community and so Adverse Weather Collective was born!

We're passionate about building a community of like-minded people who make weekend plans that can often go wrong, be it wind, rain or snow. And while we all would rather not have the weather affect our plans, we've had to learn to lean into the unpredictability of mother nature, learning to love the unplanned socials and hangouts and rather than letting the weather dampen our spirits, we embrace it as an integral part of the hiking experience.
